Such nice weather! Corduroy-weather! This is my favorite time of year.
walking back from the co-op. [270.365]
It's fall! Yay! Our "snack committee" had a meeting at the co-op that's a mile from our house (we're hoping to do bulk ordering from them to save us parents some money and a whole lot of hassle), so I got to have a nice autumn walk.
a day in the life. [269.365]
I did the photo-an-hour (actually slightly more often) thing, but a day late, because I'm out of the loop. Whatever. Here's M, eating breakfast. My day mostly involved running Peer Review workshops in my writing classes, so there were a lot of photos like this one:
#tbt almost two years ago. [268.365]
She was just about walking, and so cute in those cords! And oh, yeah, I actually had boobs back then. Damn.
me and my girl, plus lens flare. [267.365]
I love this kid.
happy equinox! [266.365]
We do a "something to do, something to wear, something to read" system for gifts, and we celebrate each change of seasons, so M's gifts for the Autumn Equinox were: To do: a set of alphabet and number stamps To wear: Elle Melle, handknit by mama To read: a couple of Gail Gibbons books about… Continue reading happy equinox! A ran a half marathon! I'm super-duper proud of him! M and I walked to the corner of Clinton and Highland to cheer him on: Go, daddy, go!

Reading "My Many Colored Days", a Dr. Seuss book we got from the library.
toddler-in-handknits! [261.365]

Looking at it now, I can see some things I'd adjust if I ever wrote it up as a pattern (who… Continue reading toddler-in-handknits! [261.365]
my office is cold. [260.365]
My office is freezing, but I bundled up and kicked my to-do list's ass on Wednesday. Also started coming down with a cold, which sucks. I feel like I'm swallowing sand. Ugh!
braids! [259.365]
M's hair is finally long enough that I can braid it! She is so stinking cute with her braids in, especially in her flannel button up shirt.
