how I’m greeted. [83.365]

She squeezes her cheek into mine while saying "I love you I love you I love you". She's the best!

On Mondays, A picks M up from school at 3 and they go grocery-shopping together while I stay at work. I take the bus partway home (and walk the rest) a little after 5. When I get home, M squeals with joy! I scoop her up, and she squeezes her cheek against mine while saying “I love you I love you I love you!”

Basically, she’s the best.

I managed, this evening, to put her hair into pigtails for the very first time. OMG. I just about died from the cuteness. I mean, look at this:

Somebody's pretty excited about having pigtails :)

She was so excited about them, too. Couldn’t stop checking herself out in every reflective surface she could find. I’m going to try to put them in again tomorrow before she goes to school.

She looks like such a big kid with her pigtails! Sniff.
