taking to the skies

More Winter Sky.

Well, I’ve had my one day at home between trips now, so I’ll be taking off in a few hours to fly down to North Carolina. To be perfectly honest, I’m a bundle of stress at the moment (I’ve never liked flying, and the new TSA restrictions and such add even more stress to airline travel, so much so that I would avoid it entirely, if Amtrak served more locations), and really wish I could just stay home with my husband. There’s just too much going on in my life right now, and time seems to be flying by way too fast (how on earth is it already mid-March?!). Our third wedding anniversary is next week, and I have no idea what to do for him…at this late date, he’s definitely not getting anything handknit, that’s for sure! And not too long after that, I’ll have my 25th birthday…my goodness, a quarter of a century! Maybe once I’m back from this conference things will slow down and I’ll be able to catch up a little bit, but I’m not counting on it.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

  1. hopefully once you are home, you can relax a little! trains are pretty non-existent here – and more than twice the price of flying!

  2. Hopefully the stress will abide soon!

Yay for 25 birthdays and yay for 3 anniversaries. The 3rd anniversary gift is leather and/or glass. Hopefully this might spark an idea for you?
