I’m a PhD student in Cognitive Science, studying language, and currently living in Upstate New York, by way of Ohio, by way of Minnesota, by way of North Carolina. I’m a progressive liberal vegetarian. I swim, I bike, I play the violin, and of course, I knit. Which is what this whole thing is about, anyway.

    Hi! I was hoping to make the Chevalier mittens out of some Beaverslide yarn from my stash. What size needles are you using for yours? Also, do you have a feel for how much yarn the pair of mittens will require? I think I can get away with one skein, but I don’t want to run out!
